yfc-MAY UPDATE

We could not do what we do without your faithful support and prayer! Thank you!

This was easily our busiest month of the year! As we close out the semester, Campus Life Clubs finished the year strong with end-of-year parties, and events. It was a great year of growth and expansion. God moved powerfully. With less than half of our ministry sites operational, we still engaged over 1200 students a week and saw over 180 students come to Christ!

Teens gather during first lunch period in our Campus Life Club at Imperial High School.

The Prayer Experience, our annual National Day of Prayer event was held at First Christian Church this month and it was a powerful evening! Our theme was “One With the Father” and students were encouraged to focus on the unity that God is calling the Church to and inviting us to share with Him.

Students work on a unity art project at the Prayer Experience.

This month, we honored our student leaders, volunteers and teacher sponsors at our annual Campus Life Awards Ceremony.  Congratulations to Central Union High School for winning the Campus Life Club of the Year, and to Imperial High School’s Pedro Quintanilla, our Teacher Sponsor of the Year.  Congratulations also to Cameron Colace, our Volunteer of the Year and our Student Leader of the Year and the recipient of the Baker Award, Emma Walker!

Our 25th Annual Campus Life Awards Ceremony was an exciting night for our teens and volunteers!

It was also a privilege to once again host the El Centro Baccalaureate and honor the Class of 2023 at the Southwest High School Gymnasium.

Pray for our upcoming Fireworks Booth Fundraiser (in the El Centro Vons Parking Lot, June 28-July 4th ) and for all of our Summer activities!
